The Need
Peer-based learning resources for cardiothoracic surgery training

Our History
The Thoracic Surgery Residents Association (TSRA) was established in 1997 under the guidance of the Thoracic Surgery Directors Association with the goal of representing residents in cardiothoracic surgery training.
Since inception, the vision and mission of the organization have expanded to meet the evolving needs of our trainee members by providing peer-based resources and support for cardiothoracic surgical trainees. These resources are aimed at facilitating resident success throughout training and allowing them to launch successful careers.

Integrated Resources
The TSRA has produced several resident-created resources for cardiothoracic surgical training over the years. With 5 published textbooks, an extensive podcast series, a growing literature review, webinars, and an 800+ question bank, TSRA resources have provided ample opportunities for learning across a wide range of platforms.
The TSRA WebApp brings the power of these resources to trainee fingertips in one central, searchable location—making it easier than ever to cross-reference content across textbooks, podcasts, and questions.
